Police asks beaten diplomat from the USA to come back to Ukraine

Ukrainian police asks the citizen of the USA Robert Simmons to come back to Ukraine for further investigation of the criminal case about his beating.

The chief of MIA of Ukraine in Kiev Vitaly Yarema reported that this criminal case was being investigated according to the article 296 (hooliganism).

Besides, Yarema declared that some persons related to this incident were found. "The problem is that the victim is outside Ukraine, in Uzbekistan", - the chief of central committee said, underlining the necessity of his arrival for speedy investigation of the incident.

We remind, the diplomat of the USA, afro-american Robert Simmons, was brutally beaten in Kiev on Saturday, February, 26 . American was attacked by a group of Skinheads.

Simmons is the employee of USAID organization (U.S. Agency for International Development) in Uzbekistan.
