Ribachuk arrived to Brussels


Ukrainian delegation at the head of vice-prime minister Ribachuk Oleg arrived to Brussels for participation in the eighth special session of council re collaboration between Ukraine and EU.

Today Ribachuk will take part in breakfast with ministers of foreign affairs of EU countries-members, will conduct meeting with president of the European socio-economic committee An-Mary Sigmund, commissar of EU re foreign trade Peter Mendelssohn and general secretariat of EU Council Xavier Solan.

The basic event of the first day of negotiations is participation of Russian delegation in the council-meeting re collaboration of Ukraine and EU on which "10 steps of collaboration" can be accepted.

In the near future president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko will leave for Brussels. He plans to take part in commission Ukraine-NATO work, and also to conduct meetings with president of the USA George Bush, president of Slovakia Ivan Gasparovich, head of Eurocommission Jose Manuel Barossa, prime minister of Great Britain Tony Blair, prime minister of Luxemburg Jean-Claude Younker, prime minister of Denmark  Anders Rasmussen, prime minister  of Canada Paul Martin, senate chairman of Belgium Ann Mary Lisen, representative of EU re general foreign policy and safety policy Xavier Solan.
