Litvin «liquidated» parliamentary opposition

Chairman of Verhovna Rada of Ukraine Vladimir Litvin declares that there is no opposition to president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko today in parliament. About it he said on the 5th meeting of the Inter-parliamentary commission of VR of Ukraine and Federal Assembly of Russia.

As UNIAN informs, Litvin poited out that «according to prime minister’s statement, there is opposition in parliament for today, except for communists faction which is in classic opposition».

Litvin marked that there can be opposition only to the «certain decisions which will be offered». He considers that all other suggestions will find support in parliament. In speaker’s opinion, «there is an understanding of president position at the level of political elites» in parliament.
