Timoshenko wants to meet with Yanukovich

Prime minister of Ukraine Julia Timoshenko is ready to meet with the ex-premier Victor Yanukovich and to hear out his suggestions. It was her reaction on the willingness of Yanukovich to search the ways of collaboration with a new government.

"War is not necessary. The country is needed to be united. We have to do our best for reconciliation of two parts of Ukraine after not very nice elections. (...) We want to have peace in the country, and I will do everything needed for this purpose. (...) If he has suggestions, I will meet and listen to him", - declared Timoshenko, "STB" reports.

At the same time prime minister declared that she did not get any official suggestion from Yanukovich.

Last week in the exclusive interview for "TSN" on the "1+1" channel, Yanukovich said: "My plans now are to meet with new power and to discuss the ways of cooperation. I talked before that we did not need to search enemies in the state".
