Pluta has been appointed new chief of State Guard Department of Ukraine

On the 7th of February the president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko dismissed Valery Strogov from the post of chief of State Guard Department and designated Peter Pluta.

It is pointed in the presidential decrees, published on the official site of Verhovna Rada, IA «News-Ukraine» reports.

Colonel-general of police Valery Strogov headed State Guard Department since February, 2001.
