Tymoshenko admitted to academic fraternity

Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has been admitted to the Ostrog academic fraternity on Tuesday, October 20. Inside the Ostrog Academy she was awarded the mantle of the fraternity member, according to Tymoshenko's press office.



In addition, the Rector of National University "Ostrog Academy" Igor Pasechnik, awarded the head of government with the highest award the Academy - Medal Prince Constantine Ostrog "for her significant contribution to the development of an independent Ukrainian state, the development of national culture, education and spirituality.



Yulia Tymoshenko, in turn, has promised to take Ostrog Academy under the personal patronage.

"I really would have dreamed, as Prime Minister, to join the sacred cause - the restructuring of Ostrog Academy. I am very pleased to accept this offerá" said Yulia Tymoshenko. However, she recalled that the Ostrog Academy was the first institution of higher education, which the Government granted the status of research.



Yulia Tymoshenko promised to personally take stock of all the problems that have an educational institution, and make every effort to solve them, "regardless of how the election will be completed.”
