The day before the first plenary meeting of the
VRU of the 6th convocation the political barometer went off-scale.
Raisa Boohatyreva, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense
Council of Ukraine had been withdrawn from the Party of Regions.
It was like a warning of Victor Yanukovych: All they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
Yanukovych
could not forgive her cruel declaration delivered in the USA. It was a
terrible mistake to come down on her boss, what a terrible mistake was
it indeed!
The first plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada was a significant
event too. The President of Ukraine was going to make a speech before
the Parliament. But he did not. As he wanted to began his Presidential
speech with a verbal bombardment against those who did not understand
his assessment of the Caucasian events.
Maybe, faithful Baloha prevented him from it.
Vassals of Yulia Volodymyrivna promised that if Yushchenko tried to
settle their hash from the podium of the VRU, they would leave the hall
in a body.
Victor Yushchenko listened to this message attentively. He decided
not to come near the VRU. It seems that the President in fact hasn't
got the guts ... it is logic of "the man in the case": it will come to
no good.
And the things began to take off. The Party of Region together with
BYuT voted for two Vice-speakers, and Lavrynovych and Tomenko could not
hide their joy. They accepted congratulations from their partisans as
well as from their political adversaries.
Yushchenko's partisans assessed this situational alliance as
betrayal of the Coalition. This night the event discussed for a long
time took place at least. Yushchenko has been ruined in political sense
of the word, OU-PSD bloc voted for the withdrawal from the coalition
with BYuT. 39 of 64 MPs voted for it and every member explained his
motivation.
Representatives of Our Ukraine and People's Movement of Ukraine (Rukh) voted against this decision.
MP and leader of the Ukrainian People's party Yuriy Kostenko told that his faction is obliged to cancel cooperation with BYuT.
The decision about withdrawal from the Coalition will come into
effect in 11 days, so it is possible that the new Rybakovs and Buts
will appear, as the flesh is so weak...
This situational coalition is a merit of Baloha. He rocked the boat
of the VRU methodically with the aim to destroy the union of OU-PSD and
BYuT just before the new political season.
So, all previous representations of lady Yu. That she would NEVER
get round the table with the "Donetsk" men were just a dummy, a sort
of bluff for Yushchenko.
It must be told, however, that he provoked her himself for such behaviour.
Will Yulia Volodymyrivna and Victor Fedorovych go together? Where and how long? That is the question.
Logic of the politicians is very simple: they have little time till the nest Presidential Election. So, let's go the limits!
But the political scientists believe that it is no good to hurry up.
Everything must be calculated. Today's events in the Parliament are
just the heralds of the storm.
Nobody have doubts that titular, not rating battle for scepter and orb will begin very soon.
Fog of words is belching over the Golden Triangle that is the
Secretary of the President, the Verkhovna Rada and the Cabinet. And it
is really very strange that this fog is not whitish but blood red.

Autumn of 2008 is the start of political games. Forthcoming political season is crisis, transit and election - pre-election.
Politicians who have nothing to say but jokes and populist promises will leave the political arena in the near future.
A new epoch of Ukrainian politicians is coming. New pleiad of
serious people is coming. They will have to solve concrete question,
and solve fast. Ukraine already has such people, but they are not on
the leading positions yet.
But certain representatives of the "old guard" will remain at the political Ukrainian scene.
There are two reasons of coming into policy: they want to live well
or they want to build good life for others. Why does a politician need
money if he has power? But the majority strives for money as well as
for the power. And it can't last for a long time.
Volodymyr Fesenko, directir of the Center of Applied Political Researches
- It will be wither the last session of the VRU or this
convocation will work under semi-crisis condition during a year and a
half. The Coalition, as well as the present VRU are nothing more than
walking corpse. Nothing of efficient legislative work will be done.
As for me, the Constitutional Court must use common sense.
I can propose a new version. Let the VRU work without a coalition.
Maybe, it is the best way today. But in fact the fortune of the
coalition is a question of technique.
Everybody in Ukraine are interested in other. Change of the
Coalition means change of the Government of Tymoshenko. It is
essential. And this problem can not be solved without reformatting of
the Coalition or without early parliamentary elections. They will try
to solve it in the next months.
Scenario and agenda have been carried out by the Secretariat of the
President. the men of Baloha themselves prepared them. Either
Tymoshenko and her men will accept ultimatum and pass bills
strengthening the force of the President de-facto and de-jure, or the
appropriate measures at the level of the Constitutional Court and the
Coalition will be assumed.
In that case juridical and political cancellation of the present Coalition will take place.
